India have a very experienced and impressive batting line-up with some real talent in the spin department also. West Indies have some exciting players but overall look to be the weaker side ahead of this game.

- Kraigg Brathwaite, Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Jermain Blackwood are our batting choices for West Indies. Chanderpaul only made his Test debut in December 2022 but he has already made a double-century. Blackwood has played in 54 Tests and is a very experienced player.
- Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane are our batting recommendations. Rahane had a very strong 2023 IPL and top scored for India during the World Test Championship Final. Gill has hit two centuries and four half-centuries from 30 Test innings.
